This is a perfect scarf for beginners or anyone looking for a mindless project. It’s super easy, but the stitch pattern looks sophisticated. This pattern lends itself wonderfully to most yarns or combinations of yarns. It is written for DK or light worsted yarn, but is easily modified to accommodate any weight of yarn. See notes section on pattern. Instructions are written with full abbreviations. All measurements are given in US and metric.

NEEDLES: US 8 / 5.0 mm
GAUGE: 20 stitches and 28 rows to 4" / 10 cm in garter stitch
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 6 X 68" / 15 X 173 CM
