The Crown Jewel featured entrelac section, little bobbles and an awesome ball topper to finish it off. It is a great project to learn the entrelac technique. Using a yarn with long color sections such as Noro Silk Garden, the blocks will work up in different colors.
YARN: 90 (100, 125, 150) yd / 80 (90, 115, 140) m of worsted weight yarn. Shown in Noro Silk Garden.
NEEDLES:
- US 5 / 3.75 mm double pointed needles for ball topper
- US 6 / 4 mm circular 16" / 40 cm length
- US 8 / 5 mm circular 16" / 40 cm length
TOOLS: stitch marker, tapestry needle, and scrap yarn or poly fill to stuff ball topper
GAUGE: 18 stitches and 22 rows over 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
SIZING: Baby (toddler, junior, adult)
