Jewel Basin is a great first venture into knitting with beads. The lace pattern is easy and intuitive allowing focus to center around placing beads. The beads add weight to the cowl giving this piece wonderful drape.
Instructions for the bead placement pattern are written and charted for personal preference. All measurements are given in US and metric.
YARN: 395 yd. / 361 m of fingering weight. Shown in PDS Tenderfoot 80/20 in the Jewel Basin colorway.
NEEDLES: US 6 / 4.0 mm
GAUGE: 24 stitches and 28 rows to 4 in / 10 cm over Stockinette stitch
