Slate.  A steely blue.  Classic and timeless.

We have taken great effort to ensure that our photos are as true to color as possible.  However, due to the hand-dyed process and differences in yarn bases, variations in color and patterning may occur.  Your individual monitor settings can also cause the appearance of the color on the screen to differ from our actual photograph.

For best results, we recommend alternating skeins as you work. Purchase adequate amounts to complete your project.

    Beautiful Color and Texture!

    I haven't had a chance to knit anything with this yarn yet, but I can't wait. The texture is so scrumptious and the blue is so beautiful. My first purchase with Polka Dot Sheep based on a recommend from another customer, and I'm sure it won't be my last!

    I purchased the Ski Town Sport weight for the PDS 'Snow Ghost' stranded knit hat pattern. I've used this rich blue yarn in other weights, a beautiful blender with so many other colors!

    I am making the Coming Home blanket wit this color that someone at the store suggested as a nice blue/ gray for a baby! I am still slaving away on the blanket but it is beautiful!!

    This was exactly what I was looking for and the description of the color listed on your website was spot on. The yarn is yummy although I have not knitted it yet. I am pairing it with an oranges color and the contrast will be perfect.
