I love the slow-moving gradient PDS Striata, so I designed Switchback shawl to make use of the color transitions with directional changes. This modular technique creates a sense of movement of color throughout as if you are heading up a mountain road and down the other side.
Switchback is a simple-to-knit multi-directional shawl that can easily be customized to your preferred width or length. While it is designed to make use of gradient dyed yarn, Switchback would also be superb with a mini skein set or a stash buster when changing colors at each new triangle.
