Crandell by Aimee Alexander
Crandell is an easy-to-knit small shawl worked sideways (end to end) using two colors. Knit Crandell with low contrast yarns such a speckled yarn and related solid for a faded look. Using two higher contrast yarns will give you a graphic pop. Remarkably, it works either way.
Instructions are written and measurements are given in US and metric for personal preference.
KIT INCLUDES: (2) skeins of Feederbrook Farm Entropy DK and pattern (digital and hardcopy). Also included is a cheat sheet for the modifications made (see below).
NEEDED: US 7 / 4.5 mm needles
Modifications: (cheat sheet included in kit)
- (2) skeins (separate colors) of Feederbrook Farm Entropy DK.
- US 7 / 4.5 mm needles
Notes:
- The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn. I used Feederbrook Farm Entropy DK and size 7 needles
- I worked a total of 13 “Garter Section” repeats, 5 “Striped Section” repeats, and 5 “Eyelet Section” repeats. Adjust these numbers as needed to use up your yarn.
