Second Street is the bulky version of our Central Ave hat which we designed to match the ever-popular commercial hat we saw all over town. It's a one-skein quick project that's fun to knit. You'll have the repetitive pattern memorized in no time, and can knit these on the go or at social meet ups.

Second Street is knit in the round from the brim up. It features a knit in hem for warmth and to help retain shape over time. Instructions include 3 sizes and all measurements are given in Imperial and metric.

KIT INCLUDES: (1) skein of PDS Big Sky Bulky, (1) matching pom pom, a digital and hard-copy of the pattern. 

You Will Need: US 10 & 11 needles

If you see a colorway called FREE SPIRIT (not always available), and love it, snap it up quick. Our FREE SPIRIT's are one-of-a-kind colorways. Some days it's just fun for us to spend time in the studio without measuring and keeping detailed logs.  We just happily paint yarn, and our FREE SPIRITS are the products of these days.  We make these colors in limited batches, so make sure to buy all you need for your project. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.

FIBER CONTENT: 100% superwash merino wool

GAUGE: 12 - 14 sts = 4 inches / US 10.5 - 11 needles

CARE: Machine washable in cool water, dry flat

    I ordered the mystery kit for this pattern and I loved the yarn that I received. (Big Sky Bulky - color Innovation) The hat looks great and the pattern was easy to follow.

    knitted the knitmeg hat with matching pompom. Hat fits amazing and the colors are beautiful. Hurried and knit another second street hat with crystal park for a friend for Christmas. she loved it

    I ordered the dyers choice colourway, , so glad I did... ahhhhhh.... incredible! Knit the entire hat on a 3 hour plane ride.... I am overly pleased! I feel blessed!
