Pattern: Switchback by Aimee Alexander
The Switchback shawl is designed to make use of the color transitions of PDS Striata yarns with directional changes. This modular technique creates a sense of movement of color throughout as if you are heading up a mountain road and down the other side.
Switchback is a simple-to-knit multi-directional shawl that can easily be customized to your preferred width or length.

Colors not true to website photo
Love the scarf and design. Once the short row technique is mastered it's a great knitting project. The yarn is very soft and drapes well. Unfortunately my end result, even with suggested striata yarn (Goat Haunt), is a bit disappointing. The distribution of color is uneven and bland; none of the beautiful eggplant shades in photo, and barely any of the green. It is primarily dark brown with an overabundance of ivory in just one section. I embellished one triangle afterwards to help balance the design, but NOT delighted with the results overall. Would hesitate to buy again without being able to see the yarn in person.
